Autism and Transness

This is an educational and affirmative workshop on the significance and overlap between autism and trans identities. We will discuss elements of both identities and similarities in how they are perceived by dominant society. A key component of this workshop is understanding how dominant societal expectations harm both of these groups and how challenging these normative systems can contribute to their shared liberation.

This workshop is appropriate for anyone interested in learning about connections between LGBTQ+ issues, neurodivergence, and disability justice.
